I have folded this dragon to *sasokity because she was so nice that she made a DA id for me I sent it to her by mail and she told me yesterday that she had received my packet. She liked it very much Actually the dragon was easier that I thought. I could fold it at first try without any problems. The author of this model is the Spanish origamist Fernando Gilgado. Some time ago I folded another dragon for this same author. This one: [link] Folded with a 14" square of foilback paper more tissue paper and varnished. Deviation dedicated to Creator of the model: Fernando Gilgado. Folded by: Me. Diagrams: In the book of the last Spanish Origami Convention, Leon 2008. ________________________________________ _____
You need to become member of the Spanish Origami Association and to purchase them the book "Pajarita Convención 2008 by Asociación Española de Papiroflexia". It won't be cheap.
I guess so. These books are printed and edited by origami associations that are not profit associations. The diagrammers of the models in these books get nothing for his work and the creators of the models, sometimes, get a free issue of the book (not always). They are published for the origami conventions, so, everybody who goes to that convention (paying your fee, of course), get one of these books. If you publish a model that you have created in that book you get a free book even if you don't go to the convention. But if you go to the convention and publish in that book, you don't get one extra book for you. They print some spare books too that are exchanged with similar books from foreign origami associations and the rest are sold to members of the association who could not go to the convention.
That is like... the most unfair thing in the world; a PRIVATE publication???
Damnit. So it is illegal to sell one of those books (like on ebay)?
